What is the difference between DALI 2.0 and DALI (version 1)?
DALI 2.0 adds standardized color control (DT8), extended device types, stricter certification testing and full interoperability - every DALI 2.0 product is independently certified, which DALI v1 never required.
Do I need DT6 or DT8?
Choose DT6 for standard single-channel dim-to-dark. Choose DT8 when you need color tuning: tunable white (CCT) or RGB color mixing, each with two DALI addresses.
Are XGW DALI drivers certified or just DALI-compatible?
XGW drivers carry official DALI 2.0 certification from the DALI Alliance (DiiA), guaranteeing interoperability with third-party DALI-2 masters and sensors.
What power levels are available with DT8 color tuning?
DT8 tunable-white versions span 12-150W, covering panel lights, downlights and linear fixtures. Higher powers are available on request.
